As a single mom, trying to manage a household is challenging enough. When a garbage disposal or water heater is acting up, not knowing how to fix it can cause stress.
Who do you call to fix it? How much will it cost? Can you trust that person to come into your home?
We hear these concerns all the time.
We want to educate you on how to fix minor repairs yourself, and give you a list of trustworthy service professionals that you can call for the bigger repairs.
Donate & Volunteer
There are over 20,000 nonprofits in Arizona alone.
There is no way each of these nonprofits can meet every need. It’s vitally important that we share resources to support our community.
Homes for Single Moms doesn’t have a food pantry or clothing donation closet, but we have listed other nonprofits who do. We also do not have housing or a shelter, but we have a list of other nonprofits who do. Please check our resource page and if you are a nonprofit who has a needed resource and you are not on our resource page, please reach out to us so we can add you.
It really does take a village to raise a child.
Our Donors and Volunteers are such an integral part of our single mom community. Many of them have been single moms themselves, or were raised by single moms, and want to give back.
To everyone who has supported Homes for Single Moms, Thank you for your donations and volunteer time.
We truly are a community organization and we couldn’t do what we do without your donations and support.
You don’t have to learn everything on your own!
We offer a range of classes on topics pertaining to home management and maintenance.
From budgeting to how to maintain your water heater, or how to fix a garbage disposal we show you how to do it all.
This is a great place to connect for all things home related.
